Complaints

Even with the most thought-out products there will be a nonconforming part every now and then. We do our best to keep this ration as low as possible. As our goods are more complex than others they are made by especially trained staff, thus keeping the error rate very low.

In the course of years we found out that many complaints were caused by wrong handling or lack of understanding for the materials. That is why we would like to ask you to take some photos of the nonconforming part so we make ourselves a picture of what is wrong. After that we can tell you how to deal with the problem or send a replacement. We hereby announce that we do not accept the cost of forwarded freight or unwarranted complaints!

To exclude common treatment mistakes we added some advices on our homepages. Secondly, we lately produced product videos where we discuss correct handling, too.

EHMANNS fishing is of course striving to repair or replace faulty products as soon as possible as this is a vital part of a good business connection. Usually, this happens much faster than our colleagues do, where the product is sent to an integrated store and from there to the right department. But we are committed to our producers as well and have to be fair to them. Legitimate complaints will be dealt with as soon as possible; else we can take care for a cheap fixation from our broad spare parts warehouse. Please note that we need the invoice with the date of purchase to deal with your complaint!
